Teens... need community service hours? We have the job for you! If you are going into 9th - 12th grade, you can sign up to help with Children's Summer Reading Club. But before you can start volunteering, you will need to attend one Teen Volunteer Training session. But guess what... your time spent in the session counts as volunteering, too!

At the Teen Volunteer Training session, you will fill out an application, learn the Library's policies for volunteers, be shown how to sign up for shifts, and receive instructions on how to use our software system. As a volunteer, you will be working with young children and their caregivers to help record their summer reading progress and distribute prizes. You can work as much or as little as you would like; sign up for two-hour shifts that fit your schedule.
