Electronics Recycling Day with Summit e-Waste
Be responsible today for a better future tomorrow.
Gather all of those old electronic devices and bring them to the Library where Summit e-Waste Recycling Solutions will take them away to be recycled. The following items will be accepted:
- Desktop Computers & Laptops
- Printers - All Types and Sizes
- Cell Phones, PDAs & Mobile Devices
- Telephones & Phone systems
- Modems, Routers & Servers
- DVD Players, VCRs & Stereos
- Game Consoles & Radios
- Cables, Wires & Power Adapters
- Ink & Toner Cartridges
- ANYTHING that plugs in (yes, that includes steam and vacuum cleaners, toaster ovens, weed eaters, dehumidifiers, etc.)
- ANYTHING that uses batteries
- Computer Monitors - There is a $10 charge for each CRT "tube" monitor that is 12" and smaller and a $20 charge for anything over 12".
- Televisions - There is a $10 charge for each CRT "tube" TV that is 12" and smaller and a $20 charge for anything over 12".
Summit e-Waste is offering on-site hard drive shredding, too.
