Join Julie Koenig of Royally Amused to discuss the Christmas history and traditions around Europe. We journey to Italy, Austria, France, Germany, Switzerland, England, The Netherlands, Iceland, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, and Vienna. This discussion will focus on how locals celebrate the season and the food that they enjoy. We discuss St. Lucia Day which is a big tradition in the Nordic countries and Italy, and meet Switzerland's Schmutzli, Santa's sidekick. Finally, visit the famous Sacher Hotel in Vienna and learn why the British are obsessed with Mince Pies.
